Last night it snowed in Georgia. We got actual Snow. Zach and I went to get Pizza with some friends to celebrate Andrew's birthday. Today i am going to my friend Jamie's! Her son Ryan turned 1 yesterday! I made him a special project for his present. I will post lots of pics when i return! Stay tuned and check out Trendy Treehouse!!!

Thankful Thursday!

I have seen some blogs that do a thankful thursday and think it is so sweet. I will try to post something every thursday that i am thankful for. Today i am thankful for my husband. He is truly my best friend. A little history: We met my senior year in high school in the airport. I know you are thinking thats not possible. Well believe it. My best friend in high school is a triplet. She and her brothers played on a traveling soccer team. The day after Christmas they were going to a tournament in FL. She asked her parents if i could come with them and they said yes. I knew who he was because when we played his school i knew him as the "ward-smith friend who is really good a soccer" hehe! Anyway he later told one of my BF's brothers that he thought i was cute. We exchanged numbers and talked when we returned home. I asked him to my winter ball that February. 2 weeks later, February 19, 2002 we officially started dating!! We made it through College together and he even moved with me from RI to GA when i was offered a job! He told me that he gave me 3 months. If he could live with me, he knew he would marry me. On October 1, 2008 we traveled home for my BF's(same one who introduced us) wedding. When we landed in Boston, he proposed. He said he felt that he should do it at a place that brought us together!! We got married the next summer on June 7th, 2009!

2 orders of business!

Happy Monday! well at least i always try to make Monday happy...it was especially hard today after the excitement of last nights super bowl game. Mr. Tobin was for the Colts and i was for the Saints. We had a friendly bet... well i won!!! Yay

Still feeling under the weather.. i actually feel like I'm loosing my voice today :(

2 things:

1. I need followers. I am so new to this Blog world if you can suggest any followers that would be great. I am welcome to following anyone's blog as well. I love reading them and getting tips and tricks from everyone.

2. I am having a baby shower at my house the end of this month and I'm stuck on menu items. I am open for any ideas. We want to keep it simple. There will be about 12-13 of us total so small. Thanks so much

Super Bowl Sunday!

Yay for Super Bowl Sunday!

I have had a sore throat for 3 days and counting. I have had 3 kids out sick this week with the stomach virus. All in all i am going to get through a laundry list of things i need to do today.

1. Clean house
2. Laundry
3. Grade papers and plan for this week
4. Finish my friend's painting for her son's 1st birthday present**pictures will be posted when it is complete
5. Make food for the game: we are having

• wings
• pepperoni calzone
• buffalo chicken dip
• chicken quesadillas
• possible french onion soup
• possible chocolate chip cookies

Hubby is routing for the Colts... which i normally i would too but i love a team that has never won.. So i am routing for the Saints..

Happy 8 month anniversary to us today!! In just 4 short months we will have been married for 1 year!!
